We went on our first European tour a month or so ago together with Last Days Of April from Stockholm, Sweden. We had a great time and enjoyed sharing a van with LDOA...even though the air conditioning didn't work!
We met tons of great people in so many nice cities. The shows were mostly in Germany and a couple in Austria. The last show was meant to be in France but unfortunately it was cancelled.
Here are a few pictures from the tour...

First day of the tour in Hamburg. We'd just checked in to our hotel, had some lunch at an Italian restaurant and decided to go for a walk. We stumbled across a shop which sold these beers. Never tried one before but it became our favourite beer on tour! We'd show this picture to bartenders across Germany to make sure we got the right beer.

We were walking around Hamburg in the sunshine trying to find a music store to buy some guitar strings. Turns out there was one in a massive bunker with enormous metal doors.

Our trusty tour van survived many a long autobahn drive.

Night off in Munich drinking beer from litre glasses at a traditional Bavarian pub.

Jonny went to the hotel to check some emails, Luke and I had a couple more...

After 11 shows and a 10 hour drive from Erfurt in East Germany we made it to Paris. The following day after lunch we took a stroll down Champs-Élysées in the sunshine. We went to the massive Virgin Megastore and bought a bunch of weird and wonderful vinyl records including a Beatles live bootleg, French edition Sonic Youth and some Serge Gainsbourg. After a glass of wine at a café outside Virgin we got our things and headed to Gare du Nord to get the Eurostar back to London.
