So...it's been a while since the last update.
Firstly, thanks for all your support in 2011!
2011 was a good year for us. I feel we grew stronger as a live act and as a band. We played so many great shows with some truly inspiring bands. Touring Germany and Austria for the first time was definately a highlight as was playing our first Glastonbury Festival.
It was amazing finally playing in Stockholm and it's been great working with Pitch & Smith and Mars Music.
The response to "Gold" has been really positive and we can't wait to release the rest of the album.
The next single - "Falling To Pieces" will be released on the 5th March. Our debut album - "Lights" will be released a week later on the 12th March.

We'll be doing a short UK tour at the end of January.

"Night and Day" feels like a long time ago... Thanks for all your patience and support!
See you at a show soon.

Thanks to everyone who came to our "Gold" release show last night at 93 Feet East. We had a good evening and it was nice to see so many familiar faces.

The video is now online and I'm really pleased with how it turned out! Thanks to everyone involved! You can watch it below.
Our next show is Frits'z Corner @ Lilla Hotellbaren in Stockholm, SE on the 28th September. Free entry!
Our new single "Gold" is out September 12th on vinyl/download.
We filmed a video for it yesterday which was long and tiring but we had lots of fun. Thanks to everyone who helped out!

Stage set up for the shoot.
The release show for "Gold" is on the 8th September at 93 Feet East in London. You can get tickets here wegottickets.com/event/127285. See you there!
We played our first festival last weekend.
We arrived at Glastonbury in the pouring rain on the Friday evening and dragged our tents through the mud to the thankfully less muddy Dance Village camping.
The BBC were kind enough to invite us to play their Introducing stage on the Sunday which was hectic but fun. We had a good time and the sun was shining for the most part of the weekend. Below is a clip from our set.
We played the 229 in London on Wednesday with a band from Ireland called Codes. It was a small and enjoyable show and our last one for a month or so.
Our first release since 2009 will be a vinyl/download single called "Gold". It will be out on September 12th this year on Winter Hymns Records.
We took some new press pictures this week for the release campaign which turned out pretty nice.
Time to relax and enjoy the summer!
We went on our first European tour a month or so ago together with Last Days Of April from Stockholm, Sweden. We had a great time and enjoyed sharing a van with LDOA...even though the air conditioning didn't work!
We met tons of great people in so many nice cities. The shows were mostly in Germany and a couple in Austria. The last show was meant to be in France but unfortunately it was cancelled.
Here are a few pictures from the tour...

First day of the tour in Hamburg. We'd just checked in to our hotel, had some lunch at an Italian restaurant and decided to go for a walk. We stumbled across a shop which sold these beers. Never tried one before but it became our favourite beer on tour! We'd show this picture to bartenders across Germany to make sure we got the right beer.

We were walking around Hamburg in the sunshine trying to find a music store to buy some guitar strings. Turns out there was one in a massive bunker with enormous metal doors.

Our trusty tour van survived many a long autobahn drive.

Night off in Munich drinking beer from litre glasses at a traditional Bavarian pub.

Jonny went to the hotel to check some emails, Luke and I had a couple more...

After 11 shows and a 10 hour drive from Erfurt in East Germany we made it to Paris. The following day after lunch we took a stroll down Champs-Élysées in the sunshine. We went to the massive Virgin Megastore and bought a bunch of weird and wonderful vinyl records including a Beatles live bootleg, French edition Sonic Youth and some Serge Gainsbourg. After a glass of wine at a café outside Virgin we got our things and headed to Gare du Nord to get the Eurostar back to London.
We're really excited to be playing the BBC Introducing Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival. We're on at 16:30 on Sunday 26 June. The stage is located in the Dance Village part of the festival site.
